This nursing and complex‑care setting provides 24‑hour support to adults with a range of neurological, physical, and long‑term health needs. The Opportunity
We are working with our client to appoint an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead this established nursing and complex‑care service. This role is ideal for a confident, clinically knowledgeable leader who thrives in high‑acuity environments and is committed to driving exceptional standards.
You will take responsibility for operational leadership, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and staff development, ensuring the service remains safe, effective, responsive and well‑led. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong, visible leadership and guide the team in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred nursing and support.
- Ensure the service meets all CQC regulatory requirements and maintains excellent clinical governance.
- Oversee personalised care planning with a focus on safety, dignity, therapy involvement and long‑term outcomes.
- Manage safeguarding processes, audits, reporting, and risk management systems.
- Maintain oversight of staffing, rota planning, skill mix and staff development.
- Manage budgets, resources and occupancy effectively to support sustainable service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with families, MDTs, commissioners and external partners.
- Drive continuous quality improvement and champion best practice in clinical and care standards.
Person Specification
- Registered Nurse (RLND / RGN / RNMH) with an active PIN or strong management background in nursing, complex care or clinical environments.
- Minimum 2 years’ leadership/management experience within a regulated care or nursing setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge with experience supporting individuals with varied and complex health needs.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Confident in managing performance, conducting supervisions, and developing teams.
- Knowledge of CQC legislation, clinical audits, safeguarding, and health & safety frameworks.
- Financially astute with experience managing budgets, resources and occupancy.
- Committed to person‑centred practice, service improvement and high‑quality care delivery.
