Occupational Therapists (Band 6 & Band 7) – Women’s Mental Health

We’re supporting a specialist provider in Leeds to recruit Band 6 and Band 7 Occupational Therapists to join a women’s mental health service, working across secure and open rehabilitation settings.

The Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop person-centred care plans
- Deliver individual and group-based therapeutic interventions
- Promote occupational engagement and recovery within the ward environment
- Work closely with the MDT to manage risk and achieve positive outcomes
- Maintain high standards of clinical governance, documentation, and audit
Band 7 applicants will also:
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to OT colleagues
- Lead on service development, audits, and evidence-based practice
- Embed occupation-focused practice across the service
About You
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Strong commitment to recovery-focused, person-centred care
- Ability to work both independently and within an MDT
Band 7 applicants should also demonstrate experience in leadership, supervision, and service development.
