We’re recruiting an experienced Senior Residential Care Worker to join a well‑established children’s residential home supporting young people with learning disabilities and additional needs.

The Role
As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you’ll play a key role in:
- Providing safe, nurturing and consistent care to children aged 7–17
- Acting as a strong role model within the staff team
- Supporting day‑to‑day routines, emotional wellbeing and development
- Leading shifts and supporting less experienced team members
- Contributing to care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding practice
- Building positive, trusting relationships with young people
This role suits someone who enjoys hands‑on care, values structure, and understands the importance of stability for children with complex needs.
Essential Requirements
✅ NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People)
✅ Minimum 1 year’s experience in children’s residential childcare
✅ Confidence working within safeguarding frameworks
✅ A calm, consistent and child‑centred approach
Desirable
⭐ Experience supporting children with learning disabilities
⭐ Experience as a senior or shift‑leading residential care worker
