Be part of a team that truly values person-centred care. Our client, a leading independent provider of specialist mental health services in Scotland, is recruiting Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join their inpatient team.
The service delivers rehabilitation and recovery-focused care for adults experiencing complex mental health conditions, co-existing disorders, and substance misuse challenges, within a safe and therapeutic environment designed to promote long-term recovery and independence.
The Service
This dedicated, inpatient setting provides medically supervised detoxification alongside mental health rehabilitation, helping individuals through stabilisation and into longer-term recovery.
Care is delivered via a multidisciplinary team, with tailored treatment plans that address both mental health and substance misuse problems, ensuring safe and structured transitions back into the community.
The Role
As an RMN, you’ll play a key role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care within a structured inpatient environment. You’ll support individuals through detox, stabilisation, and recovery, helping them achieve positive long-term outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals through detoxification and stabilisation
- Contribute to assessments, care planning, and risk management
- Administer medication and monitor outcomes
- Work collaboratively with MDT colleagues
- Promote recovery, independence, and relapse prevention
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and handovers
- Ensure safeguarding and governance standards are upheld
What You’ll Need
- RMN qualification with active NMC registration
- Experience in mental health, addictions, or inpatient care (or strong interest in this area)
- A calm, compassionate, and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to recovery-focused care
