About the Service
This nursing and complex‑care environment provides 24/7 specialist support for adults with neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, physical disabilities and long‑term health needs. The setting offers a warm, structured and therapeutic atmosphere where individuals receive tailored, high-acuity nursing care alongside meaningful rehabilitation and daily‑living support.
Care is delivered by a dedicated and highly skilled multidisciplinary team, high‑acuity nursing, clinical risk management, rehabilitation pathways and complex‑needs support.
The Opportunity
We are supporting our client to appoint a dynamic and confident Clinical Deputy Manager to lead our dedicated, multidisciplinary team who specialise in providing high acuity nursing, clinical risk management, rehabilitation pathways and complex needs support. This role would suit an experienced nurse leader who is passionate about high‑quality care, continuous improvement and supporting a team to deliver safe, effective and person‑centred clinical practice.
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will also support the Registered Manager in overseeing clinical governance, staffing, compliance, quality assurance and day‑to‑day operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong clinical leadership and mentoring for nursing and care teams.
- Oversee person‑centred care planning, assessment and clinical risk management.
- Ensure clinical practice aligns with CQC requirements and evidence‑based nursing standards.
- Support medication management, audits, safeguarding processes and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to rota planning, workforce development, competency assessments and supervision.
- Work closely with MDTs, external professionals, families and stakeholders to ensure seamless, high‑quality care.
- Drive ongoing service improvement through feedback, incident analysis and quality‑assurance systems.
About You
· Registered Nurse (RLND / RGN / RNMH) with an active PIN
- Minimum 2 years’ management or senior clinical leadership experience.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex clinical or neurological needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of clinical governance, assessments and person‑centred practice.
- Financial awareness and understanding of resource management.
- Strong organisational, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of CQC legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and service improvement.
