This Clinical Lead Nurse role is ideal for a registered nurse who wants a hands-on leadership position within specialist neurological and complex care. You will support adults with complex physical disabilities and neurological conditions, while helping the nursing and care team deliver safe, consistent care from day one.

The Role: Clinical Lead Nurse
In this role, you will spend most of your time supporting the nursing and care team, reviewing care plans, completing risk assessments, overseeing medication management and responding to changes in residents’ needs. You’ll work closely with nurses, support workers and wider multidisciplinary colleagues, helping to maintain safe, person-centred care for adults with complex neurological and physical needs.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting and mentoring nurses and care staff during shifts
- Reviewing care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation
- Helping manage medication, clinical escalation and changes in presentation
- Supporting audits, compliance and good clinical governance
- Working closely with the wider team to promote independence, dignity and quality of life
What You’ll Bring
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN — RGN, RMN or RNLD
- Experience supporting adults with complex physical disabilities, neurological conditions, neuro-disability or long-term conditions
- Previous senior nurse, deputy manager, unit manager, team leader or clinical lead experience
- Strong knowledge of care planning, risk assessment, medication management and clinical governance
- Right to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available
