The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join a highly specialist, multidisciplinary team with a nationally recognised healthcare group.
Based in Leicester, this specialist service provides nerurobehavioural rehabilitation for individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI), stroke and other neurological conditions, as well as complex psychological and mental health needs.
Working within a safe, therapeutic and multidisciplinary environment, the focus is on delivering personalised rehabilitation programmes, maximising independence, and supporting individuals to transition successfully back into the community.
You will play a key role in delivering formulation-led, evidence-based psychological interventions, supporting individuals with complex neuropsychological and behavioural needs as part of their rehabilitation journey. You will work collaboratively as part of a specialist, multi-discliplinary team and contribute to a service that prioritises recovery, independent and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions
- Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions tailored to complex needs
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (including OT, physio, nursing, psychiatry)
- Support behavioural management and neuropsychological rehabilitation programmes
- Offer clinical supervision, reflective practice, and psychological guidance to staff
- Contribute to service development, outcome measurement, and quality improvement
- Liaise with families, carers, and external professionals to support discharge planning
- Maintain high standards of clinical governance and documentation

What You’ll Need
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent)
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Experience working with acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, or complex mental health needs
- Strong formulation skills and experience delivering evidence-based therapies
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience providing supervision and supporting staff development
- Commitment to person-centred, rehabilitation-focused care
