This Registered Manager role is ideal for an experienced adult social care leader, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up, who can take ownership quickly in a specialist residential service. You’ll lead day-to-day operations, support care quality, and help maintain a safe, well-led service for adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and behaviours that challenge.

The Role: Registered Manager
In this role, you will spend most of your time leading the service, supporting your team, and ensuring care is safe, effective, responsive and well-led. You’ll work closely with residents, families, staff, commissioners, social workers and multi-disciplinary professionals, with clear responsibility for day-to-day service quality and performance.
You will:
- Lead the day-to-day running of a CQC-regulated specialist residential service
- Oversee person-centred care planning, risk management and positive behaviour support
- Support safeguarding, audits, governance and continuous improvement activity
- Recruit, supervise, train and develop a skilled care team
- Build effective relationships with families, commissioners, social workers and external professionals
What You’ll Bring
- Experience as a Registered Manager, or significant Deputy Manager experience with readiness to step up
- Background in adult mental health, learning disability, autism and/or complex needs services
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality assurance frameworks
- Experience leading care teams and managing day-to-day service operations
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards this
- Right to work in the UK
