The Role: Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Care
In this role, you will:
Deputise for the Registered Manager when required and help keep the home running safely and consistently
Lead, support and supervise residential care staff during day-to-day shifts
Help maintain compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, safeguarding and child protection requirements
Support care planning, risk assessments and Positive Behaviour Support Plans with external professionals and wider teams
Support staff development, communication and practical processes across the home
What You’ll Bring
Level 3 in Health and Social Care – Children and Young People
Working towards Level 4 or 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People), or equivalent
Previous supervisory experience in a residential care service
Working knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, safeguarding and child protection
Experience supporting children and young people with learning disabilities or complex needs
