This Registered Manager role is ideal for a leader who values stability, safeguarding-led practice, and making the right decisions for children from day one. If you enjoy leading a well-run service, supporting your team, and delivering positive outcomes for children and young people, this is an opportunity to make an immediate impact within a growing organisation
Why This Role
This role offers autonomy and accountability, exposure to a specialist children’s residential environment, and the opportunity to lead a service focused on child-centred outcomes. You’ll work closely with care teams, senior leadership, and external professionals and be responsible for delivering outcomes related to safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and service quality. The role balances operational leadership with team development, providing clear expectations from day one.
- Lead the daily running of the home and ensure children receive safe, high-quality care.
- Support, supervise, and develop staff to maintain a positive and effective team culture.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements, Children’s Homes Regulations, and safeguarding standards.
- Work with external professionals and multidisciplinary teams to support care planning and positive outcomes.
- Oversee staffing, resources, and key operational responsibilities within the home.
What You’ll Bring
- Registered Manager experience within children’s residential care, or demonstrable readiness to register.
- Level 4 or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, and Children’s Homes Regulations.
- Experience leading teams within a children’s residential or learning disability residential setting.
