The Role: CSSD Technician
As a CSSD Technician, you will be responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with infection prevention and quality standards. Working closely with Operating Room teams, Nursing Units, and other clinical departments, you will help maintain the safe and efficient delivery of patient care by ensuring essential instruments and supplies are available when needed.
What You'll Bring
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) qualification preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of hospital or healthcare experience
- At least two years of current UK experience
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection prevention practices
- Computer literacy and accurate documentation skills
