We are partnering with a dedicated care provider to recruit a passionate and skilled Registered Service Manager for their Birmingham-based team. As Registered Service Manager, you will have responsibility for leading and inspiring a committed team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will be accountable for meeting and exceeding CQC requirements, and will play a vital role in fostering a culture where staff are motivated to deliver outstanding care and service innovation.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the Birmingham service, setting clear standards and expectations for care quality and team performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, including the CQC, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector best practice.
- Oversee referrals from a wide range of sources, including Local Authorities, Health Authorities, Social Workers, Community Mental Health and Learning Disability Teams, as well as direct payments and self-funding individuals.
- Work closely with service users, their families, and representatives to tailor support plans to each individual's unique needs, aspirations, and pace.
- Promote a positive, empowering environment for both staff and service users, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
About You
- Previous experience in a Registered Manager or similar leadership role within the mental health or learning disability sector.
- Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and experience of service compliance and improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a person-centred approach to leadership and care delivery.
- Ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and inspire confidence in your team.
- Passion for developing services which empower individuals to live as independently as possible within the community.
- Degree or similar level qualification
- RMA, NVQ4, or QCF 5 or other recognised qualification
